As a half Taiwanese I have to say, Taiwan has one of the most amazing food and is a beautiful little island. For any of you who have the chance, go visit the amazing country.
This recipe is a delicious minced pork sauce the makes you want seconds, thirds and even fourths. Easy and great to make ahead for a casual dinner party where your guests will be wanting more -and of course the recipe. Simple and delicious!
4-6 servings
Ingredients
- 4-5 shallots
- 2 garlic cloves
- 500g minced pork
- 4-6 hard boiled eggs
- 2 tbsp sugar
- 8 tbsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp salt
Instructions
- Finley chop the shallots and garlic and lightly brown in a large pot.
- Add the minced pork and fry until well done.
- Pour in the soy sauce and add sugar and salt.
- Peel the eggs and add it in the sauce. Cook for 30- 20min and serve with steamed rice.
