Gratitude

Hey friends,

You have probably heard of practicing gratitude for a happier and more content life. But often it feels difficult for some of us to think of something meaningful that we’re grateful for. But that’s the thing. You don’t need to be grateful for universal important and fancy things. Instead, we can be thankful for the small, seemingly insignificant things as well.

So what am I thankful for?

Of course I’m thankful for the important things like

friends and family, that are my support system.

a roof over my head, where I feel safe.

clean water to drink, that is essential to life.

that I live in a country where there is peace.

and that I am free to pursue my dreams.

But we can’t forget the small things like,

paper. A tool and resource with which I can express myself and write down my thoughts.

socks, that keep my feet warm.

be thankful that I don’t have any food allergies as a passionate foodie.

for windows, that keep out the cold and let in the sun.

the luxury of being able to sleep many hours.

for electricity, to see at night and to power tools I need.

for my legs, that take me everywhere

for the amazing aloe plant, that has so many amazing benefits like keeping my skin plump šŸ˜‰

for my phone, that connects me to those that aren’t physically around me.

for trees that purify the air.

and so much more!!

The point here is, that we can practically be thankful for anything and everything. Even the seemingly bad things. Because they made us into the person we are today.

So don’t forget to be thankful for the small stuff.

Now, it’s your turn. What are you thankful for? Share with us in the comments down below.

If you liked this post, send it to someone as a reminder that needs to be more thankful for the small things as well.
